Twisted Aluminium Animation Wire
Twisting Animation Wire is something every Stop Motion Animator will have done at some stage. It's such a great way of building a simple wire armature. By twisting wires together you maintain the malleability of the thinner wire whilst adding the equivalent strength of something much thicker.
Our wire has been expertly twisted from lengths of quality 2mm aluminium wire. We take the hassle out of it, so that you can concentrate on model making and animating. It's perfect for wire animation armatures as well as simple stop motion rigs. Combine the twisted wire with our heat shrink tubing for added durability, which is something we do in our wire armatures.
We offer 2mm wire twisted together in 3 Strand, 5 Strand and 7 Strand sizes. Each size is available in the following lengths:
- 3 Strands 2mm Twisted Aluminium Wire - 8 meters
- 5 Strands 2mm Twisted Aluminium Wire - 5 meters
- 7 Strands 2mm Twisted Aluminium Wire - 4 meters
