Twisted Wire Compatibility

We have specifically selected our range of diameters to integrate seamlessly with our Twisted Aluminium Animation Wire. Using these tubes as sleeves allows you to define exactly where a limb should bend and where it should remain rigid, preventing unwanted movement during a shoot.

• 3/16" (4.76mm): The perfect fit for 2-Strand 2mm Wire. Ideal for necks, thin arms, and small-scale puppets. Used in Aluminium Armature Kits.

• 1/4" (6.35mm): A versatile mid-size sleeve for 3-Strand Twisted Wire. Used in our AliExtra Armature Kits. 

• 9/32" (7.14mm): Specifically selected for 5-Strand Twisted Wire and used for the legs of our Aluminium Armature Kits.

• 11/32" (8.73mm): Our largest diameter and the perfect size for our 7-Strand Twisted Wire. Used for the "leg bones" in our AliExtra Kits.

Precision Made

The tubing is produced with a consistent 0.016" wall thickness. The tight manufacturing tolerances make Albion Alloys an excellent choice for Stop Motion animators and model makers alike.
