Aluminium Animation Wire
Our Aluminium Armature Wire is a professional-grade wire which is ideal for stop motion animation, puppet making, and armature construction. The purity of our wire makes it well suited for repeated posing and frame-by-frame movement. Our animation wire has been specifically selected to offer the perfect balance of flexibility, strength, and durability.
Available in 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm and 5mm diameters, it allows animators and modelmakers to build anything from delicate fingers to full internal puppet skeletons.
Typically animators twist together wires for greater longevity. We have taken away the hassle of doing this by offering our 2mm wire pre-twisted. We also offer a range of heat shrink tubing, which provides aluminium wire with additional durability.
