Celebrate 50 Years of Aardman with a new Official 50p Coloured Coin

Hold onto your trousers, Gromit! 2026 marks a major milestone in UK animation history, with Aardman Animations celebrating its 50th anniversary. To mark half a century of thumbprints in plasticine and cinematic genius, the Royal Mint has released an official commemorative 50 pence coin.

Whether you're a Wallace & Gromit fanatic, a Shaun the Sheep follower, or a lover of classic stop-motion, the coin features the studios best known characters.

The coin is limited to 12,500 and we're sure it will be popular, if you want one they are available from The Royal Mint's Website.
