Take your stop motion animation to the next level with the ProPlus Rigging System. It has been designed for creating stunning, gravity-defying effects such as jumps, flights, and mid-air poses. Whether you’re animating characters, creatures, or props, this professional-grade stop motion rig gives you precise control and stability for every frame.

This Rig is designed for use with our ProPlus Armatures, which come complete with a rigging block. If your Armature doesn't have one, simply visit this page where you'll be able to select the armature you'll be using the rig with. We'll then supply the additional components needed to ensure full compatibility.

Why You Need a Stop Motion Rig?

If you’ve ever wanted to make your characters appear to float, fly, or leap through the air, a stop motion rig is the essential tool for achieving realistic motion and a more professional aesthetic.

The ProPlus Rig allows you to suspend your puppet in mid-air while maintaining perfect control over positioning. Using a rig will most likely result in it appearing in your shot, but threat not, it can easily be remove in post-production. Compatibility with Other Armatures

Although designed for the ProPlus Armature, this rig can also be used with our Professional and Standard Armatures with a few additional components:

Professional Armature

Requires a Rigging Block, which must be fitted during armature assembly.
If your armature is already built, you’ll also need 6mm balls and a length of M3 threaded rod to retrofit the rigging points.

Standard Armature

Requires a Rigging Block, three 8mm M3 threaded balls, and a length of M3 threaded rod. These parts allow you to modify the Standard Armature’s hip section to incorporate the Rigging Block, enabling full rigging compatibility.
