Welcome to Animation Supplies

Our Acrylic Eyes aren’t just realistic, they’re perfect for professional stop motion animation and puppet making. In the following fantastic example, you can see exactly how expressive and lifelike these eyes can be when used in stop motion.

To achieve this effect in their short The Lion is on the loose!, 5am Fox Studios removed the stems of our acrylic eyes and inserted small magnets into the backs for each eye to hold them securely in their sockets. This clever technique allows for smooth, precise movement without the need to drill holes or modify the fronts of the eyes in anyway.

The result as you will see in the video below, is Fluid animation, natural eye movement, and incredible character expression, all made possible with Animation Supplies Acrylic Eyes! Whether you’re creating a short film, puppet, or clay model, these eyes give your characters personality and realism that truly stand out on screen.

Explore our full range of Acrylic Eyes in several sizes and colours. They're perfect for animators, model makers, and puppet builders alike.
