Purple Newplast plasticine is a wonderful modelling material which is non-drying and non-setting. It offers sufficient pliablity to make a wide variety of models, but is also stiff enough to maintain its shape. It is a popular choice with animators, sculptors and interestingly engineers, who use in a variety of ways, including boat building and medical scanners. In animation, it's a great choice for stop motion and is the "animation clay" of choice at Aardman.
