With the Newplast Plasticine factory now closed, animators don’t need to panic, Animation Supplies has created Chroma Clay, a brand-new alternative which is available here.
Multicultural Newplast plasticine which is also known as skin tone Newplast, is a multi-coloured non-drying, non-setting modelling material. You'll find it sufficiently pliable to make a wide variety of models, but also stiff enough to retain its shape. These qualities make it a popular choice with animators and is the "animation clay" of choice at Aardman.
This bar is made up of 8 skin tone coloured strips. These strips seperate, by peeling apart easily.
*Please note the plasticine is produced in batches and as a result colour shades my vary slightly*
